Before you email — quick answers
"The score doesn't match what I saw."
The score blends forecast cloud cover, humidity, Moon interference and astronomical darkness. Cloud forecasts are hourly and can be wrong locally by 1–2 hours. Compare the underlying weather feed with Open-Meteo — if that's off, the score will be too. Bug reports still very welcome.
"My location shows as coordinates."
Reverse geocoding is best-effort and rate-limited. Search your city manually in the header and it will stick. If a specific city consistently fails, please report it.
"How do I delete my data?"
There is nothing to delete on our side — everything is in your browser. Clear your browser storage for this site, or use "Reset location" in preferences. See the Privacy Policy.
"Can you add my city / country?"
Every city on Earth already works — SnapCosmos computes for any latitude and longitude. If a specific place doesn't appear in search, tell us the name and country and we'll check the geocoder.
